Job Summary

The Business Analyst Strategy & Analytics at Toptal is a senior-level role focused on providing business leaders with data-driven insights and actionable recommendations. You will support new businesses by building data infrastructure, developing reports, forecasting outcomes, and linking analytics to core business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data, run experiments, and build models.
  • Create metrics, Tableau reports, and SQL scripts.
  • Develop forecasts and conduct diagnostic analyses.
  • Map business processes and data flows.
  • Set up Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Search Console.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data-backed decisions.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • 5+ years in data analysis, analytics, or business intelligence.
  • 2+ years in consulting or analytical operations.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools like Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI.
  • Background in math, science, finance, engineering, or statistics.
  • Experience with Python, R, or MATLAB is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
