Overview
Join TopDog Law as the Director of IT & Security and help build a meaningful, secure, and scalable IT environment for a rapidly growing national law firm.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Own IT and security strategy aligned with business growth, risk, and compliance
- Lead and develop the IT support team for high-quality end-user support
- Establish standards for identity and access management, device management, and endpoint security
- Improve security posture with continuous enhancements to policies and processes
- Partner with Engineering, Data, and Product teams on infrastructure and security alignment
- Manage incident response processes, vendor relationships, and tool rationalization
- Identify and mitigate operational and security risks as the firm scales
- Plan future IT and security capacity based on evolving organizational needs
Impact on the Business
Your role will directly impact client outcomes, brand reputation, and team efficiency. By leading IT & Security, you are a key partner in driving rapid growth while ensuring robust, scalable, and secure technology infrastructure.
Success Metrics
Within 6–12 months, success will be measured by your ability to deliver commitments independently, proactively address issues, communicate effectively, and enhance team morale.
Qualifications
Required: 8+ years in IT operations, infrastructure, or security leadership, strong technical and leadership abilities, excellent communication, and proven risk management in regulated environments.
Nice To Have: Experience in fast-growing, high-volume, legal or client-centric settings and comfort with evolving systems.
