Role Overview
As a Data Analyst on team 'Orion' in TOPdesk's IT department, you will enable data-driven decision-making by delivering trusted insights and ensuring data quality.
Your Job Responsibilities
- Analyze, create, and manage complex datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other departments to convert challenges into actionable solutions.
- Work with Data Engineering and Business Applications to ensure seamless data flows.
- Conduct on-the-spot analyses to address important business questions.
- Ensure data quality with governance and validation practices, considering data privacy regulations.
- Identify and refine performance metrics that drive strategic decisions.
- Explore and adopt new analytics tools and methods.
Qualifications
Education & Experience: Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; minimum 5 years’ experience analyzing data to inform decisions.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Python (or similar languages), experience with visualization tools like Qlik, Tableau or Power BI, and knowledge of data governance and data privacy (GDPR).
Soft Skills: Adaptable, solution-oriented, with excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
