Project Engineer - Civil/Transportation
Toole Design Group in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an experienced full-time Project Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering, roadway/corridor design, and traffic engineering. This role emphasizes quality construction documents and sustainable, multimodal transportation projects that enhance community livability.
A Day in the Life
As a Project Engineer, you will:
- Work on interdisciplinary teams to deliver multimodal transportation infrastructure.
- Create construction documents for roadway reconstructions, streetscapes, and signature trail projects.
- Utilize tools like AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, Synchro, and Highway Capacity Software for design and analysis.
- Manage tasks from concept development to design review, bid package development, permitting, and construction management.
- Prepare signing, pavement marking plans, and traffic signal plans if on the transportation design track.
