Job Overview

Toole Design Group in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a full-time Principal Engineer with extensive experience in civil engineering and sustainable multimodal transportation. This role involves managing projects from concept to construction, including complex roadway and streetscape designs and signature trail projects.

Responsibilities

You will guide a multidisciplinary team including planners, landscape architects, urban designers, and engineers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and leading projects in the Mid-Atlantic region
  • Coordinating with clients and preparing construction documents
  • Engaging in stakeholder outreach and feasibility studies
  • Supporting business development and quality initiatives

Work Environment & Benefits
