Toole Design Group in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Group Manager to lead a talented team delivering roadway reconstruction, trail design, and multimodal projects. This role is perfect for someone with proven experience managing highway or roadway projects from concept to final design, on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of experienced engineers.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in-office at the Pittsburgh Market Square location and 2 work-from-home days.

Qualifications
- Professional Engineering license in PA (plus for other Mid-Atlantic states).
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of engineering experience with construction documents and project design.
- At least 5 years in a project management role overseeing complex projects.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in roadway grading, drainage design, geometric design, 3D modeling and accessible public spaces design.
- Experience with obtaining transportation and local agency permits.
- Experience in business development and proposal preparation.
