We have a simple solution for this: The Too Good To Go app connects supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, cafes, canteens, and hotels with our users, who can pick up surplus food at a reduced price. This ensures that good food lands on plates instead of in the bin.

Location
Remote from Duisburg, Bonn, Aachen, Essen, Mönchengladbach, Münster, Wuppertal, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Gelsenkirchen, or Dortmund.
Your Role In Our Team as a Business Development Executive Field Sales
Your goal is to bring EDEKA and Rewe markets, as well as chains with 25+ locations, onto our platform within your region. For this, you will develop strategies for partner outreach and acquisition.
- You independently build your portfolio with new supermarkets in your region and continuously work to expand relationships with our partner stores.
- You build a continuously growing network within your region and inspire partners, both on the phone and on-site in the market, for Too Good To Go.
- Together with the team, you plan targeted regional sales campaigns.
- You always maintain a good mix in your pipeline – from small city EDEKAs to multi-store retailers, you keep an eye on everyone.
- You keep track of your contacts and the next steps.
- You know your numbers and present your successes in rescuing food.
- You are a face of Too Good To Go and present our concept with joy at (digital) trade fairs, events, and meetings.
Your Profile
- You are strong in communication and enjoy presenting to your contacts.
- Proven sales experience with the ability to build relationships, create trust, and successfully close deals with various senior stakeholders.
- Pronounced commercial understanding and experience in food retail. You are always looking for the right contacts and the next opportunity that can advance us.
- Bonus: Ideally, you can draw on a large network within the food retail world and understand internal decision-making processes.
- Experience in negotiation, as well as in creating and presenting convincing, impactful pitches.
- High resilience and motivation in dealing with ambitious goals and KPIs.
- Genuine passion for our mission and sustainable business practices.
- Very good organizational skills and a structured, independent way of working.
- Advantageous: Basic knowledge of data analysis and Google Workspace, e.g., for creating performance reports, forecasts, and identifying trends and optimization potential.
