Overview

At TomTom, you are in a unique position to advance and impact the future of autonomous driving. The Orbis Platform is central to TomTom’s transformation in map creation and delivery by integrating diverse data sources to create fresh, accurate, and customizable maps.

What You'll Do

Product Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Orbis Platform Core Technologies, ensuring alignment with overall Maps objectives and customer needs.

Customer Focus: Engage with key personas such as Value Stream staff engineers, engineering managers, and incremental map consumers to translate requirements into product features.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with engineering managers, software engineers, and other product managers to deliver features with true business value.

Migration Strategies: Communicate and document migration strategies clearly for non-backwards compatible changes.

Market Awareness: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to guide product direction.

What You'll Need

  • Understanding of B2B software, data, and/or service markets.
  • Experience in the automotive supplier market is a plus.
  • Knowledge of software development processes.
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and competing priorities.
  • Master's level degree in software engineering or a relevant field.
  • More than 2 years of professional experience as a software developer.
  • More than 3 years of relevant experience in a technology company, preferably in a product management role.
