Engineering Manager ADAS

Overview

The Engineering Manager ADAS at TomTom leads multiple engineering teams to build and scale a distributed events system and a massive data pipeline processing terabytes of sensor data, generating high-definition maps with incredible positional accuracy. You will work with cutting edge AI/ML solutions to continuously deliver millions of kilometers of HD data while ensuring end-to-end quality.

What You'll Do

As the Engineering Manager ADAS, you are accountable for team outcomes, mentoring, technical guidance, and ensuring high performance. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading multiple engineering teams and managing team performance
• Engaging in technical, architectural, and domain-specific challenges
• Collaborating with senior management and technical experts
• Defining team guidelines, staffing plans, and development practices
• Identifying growth opportunities and coaching team members

What You'll Need

You should have 8+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong skills in data pipelines, distributed systems, design patterns, TDD, and a robust understanding of full software engineering practices are required. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred along with excellent communication and people management skills.
