Job Summary
The Cyber Claims Attorney at Tokio Marine HCC evaluates and manages claims under various specialty liability policies, including Miscellaneous Medical Professional Liability and Social Services Professional Liability. Under supervision, you will conduct investigations, evaluate claims, negotiate settlements, and manage the litigation process to minimize company risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee litigation process for claims and minimize risk.
- Analyze coverage issues, conduct investigations, and validate claims.
- Draft legal correspondence and maintain claim files.
- Communicate with agents, principals, and claimants.
- Manage outside counsel and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Negotiate settlements within defined limits and conduct legal research.
Position Qualifications
- JD degree or equivalent legal education.
- Required licensure to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant legal and insurance claims experience.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary within a range of $97,500 to $165,000, subject to geographic adjustments.
