The Role: IT Operations Analyst
As an IT Operations Analyst at Tinuiti, you will be crucial in supporting end-user computing, cloud applications, and basic network troubleshooting. This role involves providing technical assistance to internal teams, resolving common IT issues, and contributing to various IT projects. It's an ideal opportunity for a candidate with foundational IT knowledge eager to expand their expertise in IT operations and system administration within a 100% remote environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Deliver hands-on support for Windows and macOS end-user computing, assist with cloud applications like Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack, and resolve basic network issues, including Wi-Fi connectivity and configuration.
- System Administration & Device Management: Support user account management, device provisioning, software deployment, and essential patch management. Ensure devices comply with company security standards, maintain accurate inventory, and assist with hardware lifecycle management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships within IT and across departments through clear communication. Provide technical guidance to non-technical teams, such as marketing and sales, for routine issues, and keep stakeholders informed of progress and solutions, adapting communication as needed.
- Project Support: Contribute to IT projects by following senior guidance, support improvement efforts to boost team efficiency, and assist in developing streamlined workflow solutions.
- Problem Solving & Continuous Learning: Independently diagnose and resolve common issues using established processes, escalating complex problems when necessary. Demonstrate thoroughness and accuracy in all tasks, and actively document recurring issues and solutions to build knowledge and improve future troubleshooting.
Requirements We Look For
- Preferred industry certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Jamf 100/200, Google IT Support, or similar.
- Basic working knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software, and Windows/macOS operating systems.
- Experience with cloud application support: Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Jira Atlassian.
- Foundational understanding of networking principles (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic network troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work based on management guidance.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
- A desire to learn and grow in IT operations, with a proactive approach to self-improvement and team support.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with directory services like Active Directory or JumpCloud.
- Experience with basic system administration tasks, including user account management and software deployment.
