Overview
Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Manager Traffic Analysis candidate for the Traffic Group in our Raleigh, NC office. The role is focussed on managing traffic analysis projects, developing client relationships, and ensuring project profitability.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for the successful management of assigned projects, including:
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Marketing and business development activities.
- Ensuring technical quality, schedule, and budget control.
- Coordinating project staff and managing communications.
- Negotiating scopes, fees, billing, and fee collection support.
Requirements
Candidates must possess:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a scientific field, or equivalent experience.
- Professional registration (P.E., PTOE, etc.) preferred.
- 6+ years of engineering or related technical experience, with 8+ years ideally in traffic and transportation engineering.
- Experience with project accounting, schedule and budget management.
- Proficiency in Microstation and traffic analysis software (Synchro, SimTraffic, TransModeler, VISSIM, etc.).
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
