Job Overview

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Manager - Traffic Analysis and Planning to join our Traffic Analysis and Planning Group in Charlottesville, VA. This role involves managing projects, developing strong client relationships, and ensuring successful delivery within schedule and budget.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The role includes:

• Managing assigned projects for roadway design and traffic engineering
• Developing strong client relationships and cross-selling services
• Handling marketing, business development, and client communications
• Coordinating technical staff, schedules, budgets, and project accounting
• Utilizing technical software like MicroStation and traffic analysis tools (Synchro, SimTraffic, Trans Modeler, VISSIM)

Skills & Requirements

Candidates should have:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional registration (P.E., PTOE, etc.) preferred
• 8 to 10 years of experience in roadway design and transportation engineering
• Knowledge of project accounting and experience managing multiple projects
• Experience in marketing and technical supervision
• Professional attitude and effective communication skills
