Civil Project Engineer III - Water & Wastewater

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer III specialized in Water & Wastewater to join our Richmond, VA office. The role involves design, calculations, field observations, and client communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design project components using Civil 3D and other relevant software
  • Perform engineering calculations and solve problems using computer tools
  • Prepare specifications and materials lists based on research and catalogs
  • Develop design details and complete plan sets
  • Conduct field observations, inspections, and data collection
  • Assist with engineering and construction cost estimates
  • Communicate with client staff and internal design teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in water resources engineering
  • Proficiency with CADD software, with Civil 3D preferred
  • Dependable with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license required
