Job Overview

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer III - Structure & Bridge Design to join our Structures and Bridge Design Group in our Raleigh, NC office. This position involves design, rehabilitation, load ratings, project scope development, and task management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and complex bridge, building, renewable energy, and ancillary structure designs
  • Conduct bridge load ratings and building rehabilitation designs
  • Assist with scope, schedule, and budget development
  • Manage projects and tasks support
  • Contribute to marketing and proposal development

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • 4+ years of structure and/or bridge design experience
  • PE License is a plus
  • Proficiency in structural design software, Microstation, and/or AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of AASHTO LRFD, AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation and NCDOT standards
  • NBIS bridge inspection certification is a plus
