Opportunity Overview

The role is a 3-6 month contract position on our Business Intelligence team, where you will build the foundation of context management for our AI systems. As a Technical Writer / AI Specialist, you'll turn complex product and data knowledge into clear, reusable documentation, including data dictionaries, schema notes, and canonical metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain data dictionaries, schema/lineage notes, and field-level documentation.
• Establish context management framework with templates, style guides, and versioning.
• Collaborate with technical and customer-facing teams for accurate product documentation.
• Document canonical metrics and clarify data relationships across sources.
• Produce and refine context snippets for AI applications via feedback.
• Audit existing documentation and dashboards for accuracy and consistency.

You bring 3-5 years of technical writing experience in software and data environments, with strong analytical skills. You simplify complex concepts, read schemas, use SQL fundamentals, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. A passion for AI and precise, independent work are core to this role.
