Role: Senior Accountant
This role is crucial to managing day-to-day accounting operations across core products. Reporting to the Controller, you will handle journal entries, reconciliations, cash activities, and loan/credit card accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries for revenue, expenses, accruals and loan/credit card activity.
- Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes with timely reporting.
- Manage daily cash accounting activities including bank reconciliations.
- Assist in accounting for consumer credit products including loan originations and servicing.
- Help improve accounting processes and controls as the company scales.
- Support annual audit and regulatory exams with preparation of workpapers.
- Assist in the implementation of accounting systems such as Netsuite and automated reconciliation tools.
- Support integration of international subsidiaries.
Why You're a Great Fit
With 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably with both public accounting and high-growth environments (fintech, financial services), you possess a strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with ERP systems like Netsuite, and impeccable attention to detail are essential. CPA or CPA-track is strongly preferred.
