About The Role: Strategy and Operations Project Intern at TikTok
Join TikTok's Global Monetization Strategy & Operations (MSO) team, a high-impact unit central to TikTok’s global advertising business. This team partners with senior leaders to drive strategy, set revenue plans, design incentive policies, and build the operational foundations that enable TikTok to scale. The work spans markets and functions, demanding sharp problem-solving, rigorous analysis, and strong execution skills in complex environments.
As an MSO intern, you will become part of a small, high-performing team, entrusted with significant responsibilities from day one. You'll contribute to projects with direct leadership visibility, gain experience across multiple markets, and develop a comprehensive skill set at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and operations.
This project intern role offers the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects, providing real-world professional experience. You will acquire practical skills through hands-on learning in a fast-paced work environment and deepen your understanding of your career interests.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver analytical reports to track KPIs, evaluate sales performance, and generate insights that inform leadership decisions.
- Conduct research and market sizing across various industries, translating findings into clear, actionable strategic recommendations.
- Support the design and rollout of regional initiatives aimed at increasing sales effectiveness and achieving operational scalability.
- Collaborate effectively with sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher; must maintain enrollment for the entire duration of the internship.
- Demonstrated analytical strength and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborate across organizational boundaries, and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Exhibits resilience and accountability within a fast-changing, global work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship or project experience in high-intensity, analytical settings such as strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or technology operations.
- Familiarity with key business intelligence tools, including Tableau and Excel.
- Strong project management and execution capabilities, encompassing stakeholder alignment and timely delivery under strict deadlines.
- A track record of effectively balancing strategic insight with hands-on operational execution.
