As an entrepreneurial team passionate about shaping the future of shopping, the TikTok Shop US operation team is dedicated to delivering high-quality products and a unique customer experience. We are building the TikTok E-commerce partnership for the US business, believing TikTok's platform is ideal for a new and improved e-commerce experience. We seek passionate and talented individuals to help construct an innovative, secure, and intuitive e-commerce ecosystem.

As a Product Management Project Intern, you will engage in impactful short-term projects, gaining professional real-world experience and practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced environment. This role will deepen your understanding of your career interests.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a bridge between the Operations and Product teams to identify workflow gaps, optimize product experience, and support iterative improvement of product features and processes.
  • Analyze operational data to uncover insights, diagnose product issues, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the product team to refine product requirements, improve user journeys, and support the design of scalable product solutions.
  • Participate in prioritization discussions by consolidating feedback from operations, users, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support cross-team communication across regions and time zones, ensuring smooth delivery of product development, testing, launch, and continuous optimization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related fields.
  • Proven skills in logical thinking and data analytics; able to break down complex problems and propose actionable solutions.
  • Proven skills in communication, organization, and project execution abilities; proactive, responsible, and capable of driving tasks independently.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-regional teams, especially with APAC stakeholders across time zones.
  • Fluency in Chinese and English is needed to manage stakeholders in the Greater China market.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in product operations, product management, data analysis, ads/search/recommendation systems, or related internships/projects is a plus.
