The TikTok LIVE Foundation team is dedicated to supporting the TikTok LIVE SMB Service. This service empowers small and medium-sized business (SMB) merchants and creators by enhancing product capabilities, providing creator services, and offering professional live streaming content. Our goal is to help them diversify customer acquisition strategies and business operations through live streaming.
TikTok LIVE Revenue:
The TikTok LIVE Revenue engineering team focuses on building an innovative, secure, and intuitive revenue ecosystem. This includes developing gifting and other cutting-edge revenue features for our users. As a member of this team, you will build solutions that have a direct impact on millions of users and live streamers globally.
Internship Opportunity:
We are seeking talented individuals for an internship from December 2026 to February 2027 (onboard by 7 Dec 2026). Internships at TikTok are designed to offer students significant industry exposure and practical experience. Responsibilities:
- Develop user interfaces for TikTok LIVE across PC and Mobile Devices, encompassing middle platforms, operating platforms, user products, and multi-scale events.
- Build essential infrastructures and engineering solutions to support TikTok LIVE's business objectives and enhance productivity tools and platforms.
- Create an ultimate user experience and drive the growth and development of the TikTok LIVE Ecosystem through high-quality design and coding practices.
- Explore and implement efficient collaboration methods to improve cross-regional and remote communication, supporting continuous business iteration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Possess solid front-end programming skills, with practical experience in resolving browser compatibility issues and optimizing front-end performance.
- Demonstrate an understanding of front-end engineering and component development, coupled with foundational design skills and familiarity with at least one MV* framework.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent service awareness, strong learning ability, and exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in multi-end (Native/PC/Server) development is a plus.
- Prior involvement in or leadership of large-scale projects and open-source contributions is beneficial.
- Experience in writing technical articles or blogs is highly valued.
