About Backend Software Engineer Graduate - Trust and Safety Engineering 2027
The Trust and Safety (TnS) engineering team at TikTok is dedicated to protecting users from harmful content and abusive behaviours. This role involves building and enhancing systems for content moderation, rule engines, strategy systems, and risk insight platforms.
Responsibilities
As a graduate, you will contribute to research and development of trust and safety systems for international live streaming products. Your work will focus on improving safety processes, user perceptions, review efficiency, and constructing strategy platforms. You will also work on enhancing safety experiences for millions of users by building high-concurrency, high-stability systems and exploring business/product requirements to solve live streaming safety challenges.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Completing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and at least one programming language such as Python, Go, PHP, C++, or Java.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong problem analysis, driving ability, excellent communication, teamwork, and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.
Online Assessment
Candidates who pass resume screening will be invited to participate in TikTok's technical online assessment.
