Overview
The Human Resource Generalist role at Tiger Sanitation, LLC supports key HR functions to manage the employee lifecycle and foster a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Compliance: Source, recruit, screen, interview, offer, hire, and onboard candidates.
- Coordinate pre-hiring medical and background processing.
- Engage with community organizations and attend job fairs and veterans hiring events.
- Prepare Affirmative Action Plan and ensure compliance.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage new hire onboarding and offboarding processes including exit interviews.
- Benefits Administration: Administer benefits including open enrollment and employee queries.
- Payroll Support: Validate payroll, serve as backup and liaise with external payroll vendors.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as point of contact for employee concerns and support engagement initiatives.
- Employee File Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Assist with other HR projects as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of HR or People Operations experience. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with HR software and tools and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
