Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will utilize machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype, and build next generation advanced analytics engines and services. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and business partners, you will:

• Collaborate with business partners to develop innovative data solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy solutions using Python, SQL, and PySpark on platforms like Databricks.
• Translate models into production-ready code alongside data science teams.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage version control with GitHub Enterprise.
• Design and optimize mathematical programming and machine learning models.
• Break down complex problems into actionable tasks independently.
• Contribute to sprint planning, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.
• Keep updated with industry trends via conferences and community engagements.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Experience in enterprise data science solutions, preferably in retail, inventory management, or operations research.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Experience with Databricks or similar cloud platforms.
• A strong understanding of CI/CD principles using GitHub Enterprise.
• Experience with Pydantic for data validation and API schema enforcement.
• Familiarity with machine learning libraries (NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, MLlib, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• A self-starter mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
