About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / IT System Analyst to work with demanding and regulated systems in the banking sector. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of business and IT, developing digital banking solutions that are secure, compliant, and truly support business operations.

You will work proactively and with initiative, independently producing high-quality specifications based on various data sources, and have a strong ability to grasp complex wholes and communicate intricate matters clearly. You will influence meaningful initiatives, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and build solutions that impact both our clients and society.

What You Will Do:

• Participate in the development, renewal, and integration of digital banking solutions.
• Analyze and define banking business requirements for IT systems.
• Produce clear requirement specifications, process descriptions, and other documentation.
• Ensure the quality, security, and regulatory compliance of solutions.
• Work in close collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and testers.

What We Expect From You:

• Experience in an IT/System Analyst role; a background in the banking or finance sector is a plus.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Understanding of key banking business processes (e.g., payments, lending, or customer management).
• Knowledge of banking sector regulations and standards (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, AML/KYC, SEPA).
• Understanding of IT practices and requirements for information security and quality.
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills.

Additionally, we believe you will thrive and succeed in this role if you have:

• Understanding of data warehousing.
• SQL and/or Power BI skills.
• Experience with migrations and cloud transitions.
• Experience with public authority or audit cooperation.
• Consulting experience or experience working in a client-facing role.
