DevOps Development Automation Engineer
Role overview
Tieto is seeking a DevOps team member, potentially a Team Leader, to join a team managing a CI/CD solution for a major Telecom company. This role is part of a global setup with multiple teams collaborating across time zones in a flat hierarchy. The primary focus will be on providing a complete CI/CD pipeline solution. The main communication language is English. Responsibilities include the design and development of the Eiffel Service, its testing, deployment, and ongoing service operations, with tight cooperation across all product lifecycle phases.Key responsibilities
- Planning and execution of DevOps tasks based on the team backlog.
- Providing support and communication related to DevOps tasks.
- Working within the LATAM time zone (same as Montreal, Canada, EST/EDT).
- Serving as a Team Member or Team Leader.
Required Skills
- Experience with Lean and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- A proactive and honest mindset with a 'speak up' attitude.
- An active and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Scripting languages: Bash, Ruby, Java, Groovy, Python, Javascript.
- Version control: Git, Gerrit, Github.
