About the Team
The Member Engagement (MEM) Team at Tide operates as a horizontal, cross-functional function focused on Personalisation and Platform Product Connectivity. As Tide evolves into a Business Management Platform, the MEM team plays a critical role in:
- Connecting products across the platform (banking, payments, lending, accounting, etc.)
- Driving intelligent personalisation across onboarding and in-product journeys
- Improving activation, engagement, and revenue through experimentation
- Ensuring cohesive platform experiences rather than siloed feature optimisation
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role partnering with Product, Growth, Engineering, Design, and Leadership teams to shape product direction using data.
About the Role
We are hiring a Product Analyst, Member Engagement to act as a thought partner to Product Managers, shaping product direction through rigorous experimentation, structured problem-solving, and deep behavioural insight.
You will work on platform-level problems, such as:
- Improving onboarding conversion and activation
- Driving cross-product adoption
- Personalisation effectiveness
- Connecting leading indicators to revenue and LTV
The expectation is strong ownership, high independence, and the ability to operate in ambiguity.
Some of the Things You’ll Be Doing:
- Product Analysis & Optimisation: Conduct hypothesis-driven deep dives into existing product data to identify user pain points, quantify the size of the problem, and propose actionable solutions.
- Product Discovery & Opportunity Sourcing: Lead hypothesis-driven exploration, working with product and business teams to help uncover new product opportunities and validate them through data analysis.
- Product Experimentation: Lead product experimentation efforts, helping design and analyse tests to build confidence in the features we invest in. You’ll be the go-to expert for product experiments, ensuring they provide meaningful data to guide decision-making.
- Product and Feature Performance Review: Collaborate with product teams to establish and measure KPIs that reflect the impact of new features. Your analyses will ensure that product developments solve real user problems and drive increased adoption.
- Goals to KPI Translations: Work with product managers to translate conversion and revenue goals into business KPIs, identifying the impact hypotheses that will drive product success. You’ll also collaborate with Analytics Engineers to enable seamless KPI reporting through intuitive dashboards.
What We Are Looking For:
- 6+ years of experience in Product Analytics, ideally within digital, SaaS, or Fintech environments, with clear ownership of experimentation and product impact.
- Strong experience across onboarding, activation, acquisition, and revenue optimisation, with the ability to connect these to long-term retention and LTV.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) for experimentation analysis and data manipulation.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and ideation through experimentation, iteration, and performance review with deep expertise in A/B testing and causal inference.
- Familiarity with key product and commercial metrics such as LTV, CAC, conversion, retention, churn, and incremental revenue, and the ability to link onboarding and growth strategies to overall business outcomes.
- Experience partnering closely with Product Managers, influencing roadmap decisions through hypothesis framing, opportunity sizing, and impact modelling.
- Ability to translate stakeholder goals across varying seniority levels into clear analytical frameworks and measurable KPIs.
- Comfortable leading and solving ambiguous, loosely defined problems, independently structuring them into actionable analytical approaches.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, decision-driving insights for business stakeholders.
- A self-starter with a strong ownership mindset proactively identifying growth levers and driving initiatives rather than waiting for direction.
- Proven ability to build trusted cross-functional relationships and promote a data-driven decision-making culture across Product, Growth, and Leadership teams with strong commercial judgment, able to balance experimentation rigor with business velocity and prioritisation trade-offs.
What You’ll Get In Return:
Make work, work for you! We are embracing new ways of working and support flexible working arrangements. With our Working Out of Office (WOO) policy our colleagues can work remotely from home or anywhere in their assigned Indian state.
