Portfolio Manager - Private Asset Management at TIAA
The Portfolio Manager serves as a central point of contact for high net worth clients. The role focuses on portfolio oversight and personalized advice, ensuring tailored asset allocation and risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and adjust investment portfolios based on market trends.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and client reporting.
- Recommend portfolio adjustments and manage securities transactions.
- Determine risk levels in coordination with client preferences.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audit standards.
- Maintain and foster client relationships through regular updates.
- Support business development and client retention initiatives.
- Contribute to investment models and allocation frameworks.
Additional Responsibilities & Requirements
Obtain all required licenses within 120 days from start date. A minimum of 5+ years experience working directly with wealth management clients is required, with a preference for 7+ years. FINRA Series 65 is required, and professional certifications like CFA or CFP are preferred.
