About the Role - Tax Intern
This position is with the Corporate Tax Department at the Chicago office of thyssenkrupp North America, LLC. Working remotely, you will be a valuable team member learning and assisting in all aspects of business personal property tax compliance.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare business personal property tax returns.
- Prepare responses to inquiries from government agencies.
- Create working papers to support tax returns.
- Assist the property tax Assistant Manager on related tasks.
Qualifications
Open to students entering junior or senior year, or recent graduates. Completion of intermediate accounting courses and tax courses is a plus. Candidates must be eligible to work full time in the United States without sponsorship, and must possess strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Internship Details
Internship begins in January and runs through May with a 40 hour work week Monday through Friday and possible overtime as needed. This is a remote work opportunity.
