Financial Services Manager
Thurston County Auditor’s Office is seeking a Financial Services Manager to lead and manage the Financial Services Division. This role directs a diverse team of accountants and financial analysts and oversees accounting, accounts payable, payroll, grants management, budget monitoring, capital assets, project costing, and policy compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Financial Services operations within budget constraints.
- Develop strategic short- and long-term financial goals.
- Oversee Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP system implementation and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, RCWs, and government regulations.
- Prepare the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and other required reports.
- Advise elected officials and collaborate with external agencies.
Working Conditions & Environment
Work is in a quiet office setting located in Olympia, Washington with hybrid and remote options available. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional extended hours.
