About the Production Artist Role at Thrivent
As a Production Artist within Brand & Integrated Marketing at Thrivent, you will play a critical role in producing and adapting visual content for both print and digital media, with a strong focus on localized field marketing. Key Responsibilities
- Adapt and localize existing visual assets, developing new solutions when needed.
- Prepare print-ready files and ensure digital assets meet platform-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with creative team members to solve challenges and execute projects dynamically.
- Serve as a brand steward, applying Thrivent design standards to all materials.
- Perform quality control checks before delivery to localization and compliance teams.
- Promptly address adjustments to final documents based on compliance review.
- Follow project workflows and timelines to ensure timely and accurate project progression.
- Maintain organized digital files for all projects and assets.
- Stay current with trends and production techniques.
- Support additional creative projects based on team capacity and priorities.
In this role, you will work with business partners, project managers, and creative team members to define design and production requirements, using your expertise to influence production decisions.
Qualifications & Skills
Thrivent is looking for a Production Artist with a strong background in graphic arts and a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
Required:
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in graphic arts, including layout, photography, illustration, and designing for online audiences.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma).
- Thorough knowledge of producing advertising, marketing, and promotional materials.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, multi-task, adhere to tight deadlines, and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task with an agile mindset.
- High standard of quality control.
- Excellent communication skills, including tact, active listening, and consulting abilities.
- Proactive attitude towards anticipating concerns and finding solutions.
Preferred:
- Experience developing creative content within a regulated industry.
- Experience within financial services or financial products.
Compensation & Benefits
Thrivent offers market-competitive compensation, with an hourly wage range for this full-time role between $26.53 - $35.90, factoring in geographic regions. The actual base pay is determined by factors such as location, experience, skills, market demand, and business needs.
