Overview
The Accounting Technician role at Accounting Technician assists with a wide variety of responsibilities to ensure timely and accurate accounting of transactional activity. This position involves repetitive transactional processing, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Process payments, general ledger entries, suspense entries, and other transactional items.
- Daily balancing of accounts to ensure accurate, timely financial information.
- Prepare account reconciliations and research reconciliation items.
- Maintain proper separation of duties and internal control procedures.
- Support corporate, divisional, and departmental projects aligned with Thrivent's strategic plans.
- Complete regulatory forms and filings.
- Assist in improving processes and process documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of related experience preferred.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Compensation & Benefits
This full-time role offers an hourly rate between $19.41 and $26.26. Thrivent offers a variety of benefits including bonuses, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off among others.
