As a Performance Strategist in the Performance department at Thrive Digital, you will ensure the company operates at peak performance by establishing efficient processes, implementing best practices, and fostering growth within your team, covering both technical and strategic areas. Your core mission involves developing and executing project growth initiatives, leading a high-performing team, and upholding Thrive Digital's company philosophy. You'll focus on setting your team up for success by enhancing the systems used to build, maintain, and grow client relationships through continuous improvement of philosophies, programs, policies, and processes.

Our mission is to sustainably grow your favorite companies, leveraging deep expertise in performance marketing, brand marketing, digital design, and data and measurement. Our culture emphasizes creativity, innovation, problem-solving, empathetic understanding, and continuous learning, encouraging experimentation and respectful boundaries for career growth.

Working Within Our Values

At Thrive Digital, teamwork and a 'no politics' culture are paramount. This means every team member, regardless of title, contributes to project success. Your role involves both high-level strategic leadership and hands-on execution when necessary.

  • Domain: You will be recognized as an emerging leader in performance marketing, solving client challenges, elevating team skills, and driving program growth. This includes leading teams in research, media planning, and strategic roadmaps for mid-sized projects, from inception through ongoing execution, optimization, and stakeholder reporting.

  • Client: You will organize and lead high-impact client relationship drivers, such as client onboards and business reviews, utilizing cutting-edge methods and tools. You will lead strategic conversations with small to mid-sized clients, proactively monitoring sentiment to address challenges and opportunities, and provide feedback to team members while working with the senior operational team on resourcing or economic shifts.

  • People: Your role involves elevating direct and indirect team members to deliver best-in-class solutions and supporting their development to grow company performance expertise. Operating at a manager level, you will address performance challenges proactively, set team members up for continuous elevation, provide expert feedback, and approach difficult conversations with confidence and care.

  • Company: You will lead a culture of project excellence within the Performance department by guiding daily interactions, developing initiatives, and aligning individual efforts with organizational goals. This includes monitoring team workflow, optimizing people and project allocation using business intelligence tools, and leading initiatives that keep Thrive Digital at the forefront of performance marketing.

Onboarding Experience

Thrive Digital is committed to an exceptional onboarding experience:

  • First 30 days: Familiarize yourself with Thrive’s tools and processes, begin onboarding to projects and teams, identify performance opportunities, and build relationships.

  • First 60 days: Play an active role across projects, collaborate on day-to-day and long-term account initiatives, and begin developing processes and strategies to improve team and project success.

  • First 90 days: Step into account leadership opportunities, providing support for project planning, strategy, client partnerships, and team skills development.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience executing, planning, and maintaining multi-channel, full-funnel performance marketing accounts of $200k+ USD media spend per month, achieving consistently positive ROI across platforms like Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, Display, Programmatic Platforms, TikTok, and Twitter.

  • Experience collaborating directly with and delegating to junior team members as a senior account manager, contributing to their development through training, strategic guidance, and project leadership.

  • Advanced analytical skills, proficient in using visualization tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, Google Data Studio, Tableau, or similar platforms for data extraction, sorting, analysis, and insight generation from ad platforms, analytics, and business intelligence tools.

  • Proven ability to manage performance media across various business verticals (e.g., e-commerce, lead generation), responsible for pacing, forecasting, and reporting media impact on overarching business goals.

  • Successful management of client and key stakeholder relationships (across seniority levels) through weekly touchpoint meetings, quarterly business presentations, and asynchronous communication channels (Slack, email, Asana).
