About Threod Systems
Threod Systems is a leading provider of battle-tested military technology solutions. They design and manufacture market-leading Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Electro-Optical Systems, and Aircraft Launching Systems for critical defence missions, governmental and commercial applications.
Your Role as Electrical and Electronics Engineer
You will support the development and integration of electronics and hardware in UAV launcher systems. This includes designing custom PCBAs, integrating actuators and subsystems, and working with off-the-shelf industrial control and power modules.
- Take technical ownership of electrical and electronic systems.
- Design analog and digital circuits along with PCB layouts.
- Prototype, validate, and troubleshoot systems with lab equipment.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams during product lifecycle.
- Document schematics, wiring diagrams, and test reports.
Design and Development Responsibilities
Work on circuit simulation, component selection, BOM management, and power distribution. Integrate industrial components and ensure the design meets safety, EMI/EMC, and manufacturability standards.
Prototyping, Validation and Production Support
Assemble early prototypes, conduct lab and field testing, and support production builds. The role involves troubleshooting, failure analysis, and on-site support.
About You
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience. Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB design (e.g. Altium Designer), and integration of industrial communication protocols is critical.
Additional beneficial skills include experience with safety-critical systems, EMC testing, thermal management, and background in defence, aerospace, or rugged industrial systems.
