About the Role

At Thoughtworks, our Consultant Developer works closely with Business & Quality Analysts, Designers, and Project Managers to design software solutions that create meaningful change. You will write clean, iterative code and employ best practices to achieve high quality and innovative results.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and adopt best practices with TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.
  • Utilize continuous delivery practices to provide high-quality software.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to build innovative customer experiences.
  • Work with various teammates to build features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes.
  • Advocate and demonstrate DevOps culture across teams.
  • Take ownership beyond individual deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Apply the latest technology trends from Thoughtworks Technology Radar.

Qualifications

Minimum two years experience with one or more development languages such as Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, or C#. Familiarity with Object-Oriented programming, Agile, Lean or Continuous Delivery, TDD, continuous integration, and cloud technologies like AWS is expected. Bonus points for Docker or Kubernetes knowledge.
