About the Role
As a People Operations Generalist at Thought Industries, you will support the day-to-day operations of the People function in a hybrid work environment. Based in the Boston office, you are required to work on-site at least three days per week. You will partner with the Chief People Officer and manage employee lifecycle operations, office initiatives, and cross-functional support.
Key Responsibilities
- People Operations: Serve as a point of contact for HR inquiries and maintain HRIS (Paylocity) ensuring data integrity.
- Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration processes.
- Assist with recruiting via SmartRecruiters and support performance reviews and compliance training.
- Office & Culture: Manage office operations including visitor access, maintenance, supply inventory, and event coordination.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in an HR or People Operations role.
- Experience in physical office operations or facilities management is preferred.
- Familiar with Paylocity, SmartRecruiters, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field; HR certification is a plus.
Additional Information
The salary range is $85,000-$95,000 with a $5,000 annual bonus. All information will be kept confidential following EEO guidelines. Thought Industries is an equal opportunity employer.
