Thomson Reuters is seeking a Professional Services Manager to lead a portfolio of client delivery projects for our legal software solutions. In this role, you will own outcomes across scope, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will manage a team of consultants and project managers, drive financial performance (utilization, revenue, margin), and ensure engagements are executed with rigor. This position requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams to align delivery plans with solution capabilities and commercial commitments, effectively removing obstacles and escalating risks to keep complex programs moving forward.
About the Role
As a Professional Services Manager, you will:
- Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple customer engagements (implementation, technical consulting, training), ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes and high customer satisfaction.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of consultants; set goals, coach performance, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Lead staffing and resource planning across a global delivery model, balancing workloads and skills to meet demand.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and professional development; uphold delivery standards and playbooks.
- Serve as the delivery point of contact for executive sponsors and project stakeholders; facilitate governance meetings and executive readouts.
- Proactively identify risks and issues; lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions; own critical escalations to resolution.
About You
You are fit for the role of a Professional Services Manager, if your background includes:
- 5+ years in software professional services, consulting, or program delivery.
- People leadership and/or mentorship experience.
- Financial acumen: hands-on ownership of utilization, revenue, margin, and forecasting.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills; adept at steering governance and escalations.
