About the Attorney Editor Role at Thomson Reuters

Global Codes Attorney Editors at Thomson Reuters are responsible for validating and directing the review and publishing of United States content updates for their assigned jurisdictions and product lines. Working collaboratively with colleagues globally, Attorney Editors ensure researchers have access to the most accurate and current versions of US code materials. This role demands sound editorial judgment, playing a key part in maintaining the quality of our Editorial content and providing accurate information across all media platforms for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal interpretation through analysis and research to develop and review content for customers.
  • Adhere to editorial publishing schedules and quality standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and develop legal knowledge and skills, staying current on legal trends and developments.
  • Demonstrate competence on company-specific systems, including customized editorial systems, necessary for job functions.

Who You Are

You are an ideal candidate for the Attorney Editor position if you possess:

  • A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school or equivalent legal training.
