About the Account Executive Role
This position is responsible for developing account plans for new and/or existing accounts. You will prospect new customers and expand business opportunities within existing customers. The role requires full solution sales to corporate customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting: Actively seek out new business opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Account Management: Manage major accounts (companies with revenues of $500M+), from initial contact to closing deals, and renewals.
- Sales Goals: Meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions addressing customer needs.
- Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Salesforce Maintenance: Regularly update CRM system (salesforce.com) for accurate sales forecasts.
About You
You are ideal for this position if you have a college degree (preferred) and at least 5 years of direct field sales experience. You have a proven track record in selling complex enterprise software with a consultative, value-based approach, are adept at engaging C-suite executives, and maintain strong cross-functional collaboration.
