About the Role
In the Account Executive role at Thomson Reuters, you will develop account plans for new and existing small to mid-sized corporate accounts in an assigned territory. You will prospect new customers and expand business with existing ones by closing full solution sales to corporate customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting: Actively seek and develop new business opportunities; maintain a 3-4x sales target pipeline.
- Account Management: Manage account planning from initial contact to deal closing and renewal for companies under $500M revenue.
- Sales Goals: Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions addressing customer needs.
- Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- CRM Maintenance: Regularly update Salesforce (salesforce.com) with accurate sales activity records and forecasts, and engage with clients via in-person meetings or MS Teams.
About You
You should have a college degree (preferred) and a minimum of 4 years of direct field sales experience, ideally in the corporate sector. You are experienced in selling complex software solutions to companies with revenues under $500M, possess a consultative and value-based sales approach, and are comfortable selling to C-level executives. Ability to develop and execute account plans, maintain a disciplined sales pipeline, and manage detailed sales processes is required. Flexibility to work from a home office and travel to customer locations is essential.

Compensation & Benefits
This role includes a target total cash compensation range in the US from $128,100 to $237,900, inclusive of base pay and target sales incentive, as part of a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
