Position Overview
The Project Support Associate provides administrative support to Project Managers ensuring successful completion and supply maintenance over the life cycle of each project at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams, managing project documentation, and ensuring adherence to quality and manufacturing principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Client and internal project management team to finalize project specifications.
- Assist in maintaining study filing systems and accurate records.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to coordinate Fisher Clinical Services activities.
- Communicate project progress using project planning tools.
- Provide timely reports and support the creation of operational documentation.
- Monitor project activities and apply Good Manufacturing Principles.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong organizational, planning, verbal, written, and numerical skills; effective communication abilities; and competency in understanding and using internal SOPs.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, deep understanding of clinical trials, and with a Project Management certification.
Work Conditions
- Office-based role with occasional cold environment exposure.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a computer for extended hours.
- 10-25% travel as needed.
