Job Details
Position Objective
The QC Scientist II is responsible for conducting finished goods and raw material sampling and testing within an ISO accredited laboratory environment. The role includes Pharmacopeia testing, UHPLC, ICPMS analysis, and advanced analytical techniques.
Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert in finished goods release testing.
- Troubleshoot technical and instrumental queries across the analytical department.
- Collaborate with Production, Technical, and Manufacturing teams on quality issues.
- Lead data collection, trend analysis, investigations, and process improvements.
- Review and approve testing for new and existing products.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field and minimum 5 years of analytical experience are required. Proficiency in HPLC/UHPLC and ICP-MS/OES systems, method development and validation, and strong communication skills are essential.
Working Conditions
This role is conducted in an analytical laboratory environment. It may involve physical activities such as moving boxes and pallets for raw material and WFI sampling.
