Key Responsibilities
- Culinary Strategy: Develop and maintain an innovation pipeline aligned with brand strategy, food safety standards, and cost targets.
- Product Development: Lead creation, testing, and commercialization of prototypes and new menu items.
- Supplier Management: Build and manage strategic partnerships with suppliers and coordinate demos and tastings.
- Culinary Vision: Act as a thought leader by researching culinary trends and ensuring compliance with nutritional and ESG standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and grow direct reports through structured development and cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required in Food Science, Culinary, or a related field with 10 years of combined experience. Proficiency in computer applications and strong organizational, communication, and creative skills are essential.
Additional Information
This role is based at the Wendy's Restaurant Support Center located at 1 Dave Thomas Blvd, Dublin, OH 43017 with a required in-office presence at least 4 days a week. Travel is approximately 25%.
