About The Role & Team

The Walt Disney Company's Legal Affairs team, supporting Disney Entertainment Television, News & Networks Group, is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support its Deputy Chief Counsel and handle the administrative needs for six Legal Affairs attorneys.

What You Will Do

  • Perform word processing tasks including formatting, document comparison, and working with the NetDocuments contract database.
  • Obtain and compile signatures via DocuSign.
  • Create and maintain reports such as attendance records and vacation schedules.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain executive calendars in Outlook.
  • Create, organize and maintain electronic files and databases.
  • Book travel arrangements, prepare/submit expense reports, and track reimbursements/payments.
  • Assist with onboarding new team members.
  • Handle general office duties including photocopying, faxing, scanning, filing, and ordering supplies.
  • Input attorney weekly time entries.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years legal secretarial experience, preferably in a large law firm or multinational corporate legal department.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, DocuSign, NetDocuments and SAP preferred.
  • Familiarity with contracts and basic skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, follow-through, proofreading, and people skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Discretion handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, resourceful, and flexible approach.

Education & Compensation

High School Diploma or equivalent required. The hiring range in New York is $68,400 to $91,700 per year, with the final offer accounting for internal equity, region, and experience. Additional benefits may include bonus, long-term incentive units and full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
