Each team member is essential in attracting top talent and building a pipeline for current and future roles.

The College and International Programs Intern will report to the Senior Manager, College & International Programs Recruitment.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, Florida, from June 2026 through January 2027.

What You Will Do

In this exciting, fast-paced, and evolving environment, you will demonstrate a strong understanding of people, processes, and technology while assisting with the daily operations of College & International Recruitment.

You will perform pre-arrivals, onboarding, and arrivals day tasks, including:

  • Attend arrivals day events and interact with incoming participants.
  • Contact participants by phone and/or email to offer support that promotes a positive onboarding experience.
  • Respond promptly to incoming candidate inquiries, demonstrating dedication and compassion.
  • Ensure accuracy of candidate records and validate that documents are returned promptly to ensure compliance.
  • Read and evaluate reports in BrassRing, Excel, and other systems.

You will support our on-campus Recruiters and their Disney Program Reps by assisting with:

  • Pre-arrival engagement sessions designed to inspire and prepare future program participants for success.
  • Disney Alumni Association engagement and events (in-person and virtual).

Day-to-day responsibilities also include:

  • Answering multiple messages through the Disney Programs Support Site (Zendesk).
  • Communicating with internal and external partners promptly to request and/or deliver information.
  • Processing a large amount of data entry, ensuring accuracy and compliance within set timeframes.
  • Managing daily tasks and special projects with accountability for work output.

  • Successful completion of a Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program, or Disney Internship.
  • A zeal for providing Disney’s legendary Guest service.
  • A self-starter who demonstrates the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and provide solutions.
  • Driven to actively engage with partners when experiencing challenges.
  • Comfortable with group facilitation with small to large groups of participants.
  • Able to work independently and with a team, with minimum supervision.
  • The ability to prioritize work and attention to detail.
  • Can handle confidential information and multiple tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical proficiencies with Excel and other Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Education

  • Junior or Senior preferred.
  • Pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Organizational Management, or a related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through January 2027.
  • Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM Eastern Time Zone for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.
  • Required Availability: Full-time hours (40 per week) during normal business hours, Monday – Friday EST. Hours outside of these timeframes may be required based on business needs (e.g., Arrival Day Support, Disney Alumni Association events, and other events).
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida area.
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
  • Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
  • We provide limited housing opportunities for Florida-based Disney Interns through American Campus Communities.
  • The pay rate for this internship in Orlando, Florida, is $22.50 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
