About Disney Entertainment Content

Disney Entertainment Content creates award-winning content across a range of television brands including ABC Entertainment, ABC News, Disney Branded Television, FX, Freeform, Nat Geo and Hulu Originals. They produce over 4,500 hours of programming across linear networks and streaming platforms like Disney+, Hulu, and Star.

Role Overview

The Analyst, Research, Insights & Analytics Disney Branded Television is a key role within the Disney Entertainment Research, Insights, and Analytics team. The role partners with senior leaders in Content, Strategy, and Marketing to deliver data-driven insights impacting creative development and content strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain databases and dashboards using internal and external datasets.
  • Distribute core reports and conduct ad-hoc analysis for DBT content.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues to generate actionable insights.
  • Visualize trends to support performance analysis and business decisions.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of experience in media research or data analytics.
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong technical expertise with databases and dashboards.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Capability to learn and work with new data systems (e.g., NPower, Looker, NNTV).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the media business is a plus. A BA/BS degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary ranges from $72,000 to $96,500 per year, adjusted according to internal equity and candidate qualifications. Additional incentives and a complete benefits package are offered.
