About the Role

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is reimagining the future of media through innovative ad technology, immersive digital products, and groundbreaking platforms. As an AI Architect, Distinguished Software Engineer, you will design and evolve Disney’s Ads Technology Platform from ad serving to AI‑driven optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end AdTech platforms for real-time ad decisioning, pricing, and forecasting.
  • Build scalable data pipelines for audience segmentation, targeting, and measurement.
  • Lead the design of ML models and APIs for creative optimization and outcome-based targeting.
  • Partner with product, data science, and sales teams to maximize advertiser outcomes.
  • Establish best practices for data governance, model monitoring, and responsible AI.
  • Mentor engineers and influence technical strategy across teams.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption in both software development and data management.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and industry standards adherence in software and data architecture.
  • Drive technical evangelism and participate in executive-level strategy discussions.
  • Oversee database design, integration, performance, and security.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field. 15+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in AI/ML and AdTech data systems. Strong coding skills with expertise in big data, streaming frameworks, cloud platforms, and machine learning frameworks. Demonstrated ability to design high-scale, real-time systems in AdTech or similar domains with excellent communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits
