Job Summary

The Housing Administration Coordinator reports to the Associate Director of Housing Administration and is responsible for managing day-to-day housing administration processes including applications, occupancy management, the MyHousing portal, and student desk staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement housing application processes for renewals, sign-ups, and new applicants.
  • Manage housing assignments, cancellations, and room changes each semester.
  • Perform regular audits of residential data and create custom reports.
  • Troubleshoot queries regarding applications, occupancy, and move processes.
  • Coordinate communications with prospective residents and campus partners.

Supervisory & Operational Duties

Supervise and train student staff, coordinate with campus partners, and manage processes within the StarRez housing management system. Execute occupancy verification and assist in prospective resident events.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required with one to three years frontline customer service and three to five years administrative experience. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred along with previous residential/housing experience and familiarity with StarRez.

Work Environment

A hybrid work schedule may be available after the probationary period. The role requires candidates to be located within the DFW Area with on-campus availability on short notice.
