About The IT Architect AI Security Role

The Opportunity

Join a high-performing Information Security team as the AI Security Architect. In this newly created role, you will be the lead authority on AI/ML security; you will design and implement secure AI frameworks, shape policies, select tools, guide secure AI adoption, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 standards. You will collaborate with IT, development, and leadership teams to ensure innovation remains both secure and compliant.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and embed AI/ML security into tools and applications.
  • Evaluate and manage secure AI tools and platforms.
  • Lead secure AI development lifecycle initiatives.
  • Monitor AI threats and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee TPRM platform and vendor risk assessments.
  • Collaborate to embed security best practices across teams.
  • Contribute to threat modeling, incident response, and architecture reviews.

What You Bring

  • 5–7+ years in senior information security roles.
  • Hands-on expertise with securing Azure platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of AI/LLM security risks.
  • Solid grasp of secure SDLC and AI application architecture.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST compliance frameworks.
  • Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Experience in managing third-party risk a plus.
  • Stable employment history and U.S. work authorization.
