About The DevOps Engineer Role
The Swift Group is a privately held, mission-driven and employee-focused services and solutions company headquartered in Reston, VA. Founded in 2019, the company supports Civilian, Defense, and Intelligence Community customers across the country and globe.
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Herndon, VA. In this role, you will deploy and maintain multiple development teams’ AWS infrastructure and automate deployments using CloudFormation and Ansible.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using Elastic Load Balancers, auto-scale groups, and EC2.
- Create infrastructure as code with AWS CloudFormation and YAML templates.
- Maintain scripts and templates in GitHub utilizing git for version control.
- Set up, build, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement security controls and monitor servers using AWS CloudWatch.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of relevant DevOps experience.
- Bash scripting and strong Linux troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Ansible and managing AWS S3 permissions.
- Knowledge of API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment with multiple teams.
- US citizenship with active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
