Job Summary: Learning Management System Admin

As the Learning Management System Admin at The Standard, you will play a pivotal role in leading our learning community. Your primary objective will be to create and maintain a robust technical learning environment, empowering our global workforce to enhance their expertise, achieve their full potential, and drive organizational success through continuous learning and improvement. This role is key to equipping our workforce with essential skills and knowledge in a rapidly changing landscape, ensuring our learning delivery system is optimized and user-friendly for both administrators and learners.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration for Percipio & Cornerstone Vendors:
  • Configure systems, including security roles, to meet the organization's talent and learning needs.
  • Partner with HR team members and the broader learning community on system governance, processes, and training related to LMS maintenance and optimization.
  • Lead the learning admin community in preparation for system releases, testing, and the introduction of new functionality.
  • Serve as the primary contact for IT teams and vendors to troubleshoot system performance and functionality issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to support ongoing system upgrades.

Learning Enablement:
  • Act as an internal consultant, ensuring system configuration and utilization align with organizational requirements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for system optimization to enhance overall functionality.
  • Share platform news, including enhancements and deprecations, with the learning admin community.
  • Manage day-to-day vendor relationships, actively participating in vendor community platforms to stay aware of continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with IT, HR, and other relevant departments to integrate learning technologies into broader organizational systems and processes.

Reporting:
  • Create and analyze enterprise reports and dashboards, providing insights into talent management and learning metrics.
  • Promote the adoption and utilization of reporting tools across the learning and end-user community.

Skills & Background You’ll Need:

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience:
  • 7 years of progressive experience in a business environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience developing, supporting, and managing training programs, delivering engaging content in-person and virtually.
  • Solid understanding of Learning Management Systems, web-based training, mixed media solutions, instructional design methods, adult learning theory, and best practices in multiple learning modalities.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and programs delivered through vendors.
  • Prior experience in a Learning System Administration role is preferred.
